Conditions of entitlement

​Widows and widowers, who receive a survivors pension or whose spouse has died due to a work accident, may be entitled to vocational rehabilitation if they meet the following conditions:

• They have no profession or are unable to support themselves with their current profession.
• They require vocational retraining as a result of being widowed.
• They are not entitled to vocational training under any other law.
• The Rehabilitation Officer believes that they are suitable for vocational training taking into account their level of education, health, and physical fitness.
